What is Chinese Language?

Mandarin, the most popular Chinese language has a history dating back to over 3 000 years. This language is one of the six official languages of the United Nations. Study shows that nearly 1.28 billion people speak Chinese as a first language. That is nearly one fifth of the world’s population!
