Beijing Normal University (BNU) is pleased to announce that they are now offering scholarships for 2016/2017 academic year. Scholarships are available for international students and are offered for undergraduate, masters and doctoral programs. This initiative was founded to give exceptional students the opportunity to peruse their education at BNU and to encourage students to attend this university.

BNU is a pubic research university located in Beijing. It is one of the oldest universities in china and has a prestigious reputation across the globe. Students who wish to apply for these scholarships shod be non-chinese students in good health and have a favorable attitude towards china. The applicants should also meet all the language requirements of the university. (English programs and Chinese programs have different language requirements)

The scholarships are to be used for tuition fees and for living expenses. Living expenses for the different programs are as follows:

*        Undergraduate - RMB 2,000 per month

*        Masters - RMB 2,500 per month

*        Doctoral - RMB 3,000

The Scholarship also includes comprehensive medical insurance. However some conditions exist, if the awardee postpones or extends the duration of study the scholarship will not cover the period of the extended part of study, also if the awardee leaves the school or suspends his/her study ther scholarship will be terminated immediately.

Eligibility

Only undergraduates who are a part of the top 3% in the entrance exam or students who have been exempt from the exam due to excellent academic record are eligible to apply.

Masters Students who wish to apply must have a superior bachelor transcripts, outstanding academic background and research as well as possess innovative ability.

PhD candidates Must have an excellent masters transcripts, extraordinary academic background and superior research.

All candidates should already be admitted to BNU and should not be a beneficiary of any other scholarship.
