Application Deadline


In China, most universities have 2 academic semesters in 1 academic year. Universities begin their courses in either autumn or spring. The semesters normally commence in September for fall and March for spring. Most universities in china begin their course in September. Knowing the application deadline is very important in choosing your course. It’s important to know the specific deadline for your desired course and university.

This guide will give you an estimation used generally by most universities. Students are advised to start application 2-3 months due to the deadline. Application submitted after the deadline will be only considered by the universities on vacancy basis.

Annually, Chinese universities have a limited number of seats for each course so it’s advisable to apply early to secure your admission.

This schedule is for students who want to start their studies in fall.

 

March

Prepare your documents and every other thing   needed to start your application.

April-May

Most universities give the chance to students to apply at this time.   Applicants are advised to complete their application(s) and submit them at   this time.

Late May-June

Admissions decisions are   made by the universities and colleges

July

Most universities close their admissions

August

Admission package i.e.   Admission notice and JW202 are delivered by post to each successful applicant. These two documents is must for applying for Chinese student’s   visa. Successful applicants should inform us if they don’t get their documents by this time.

September

Most universities and colleges commence at this time. Check your admission notice to know you’re your opening date.  Applicants are advised to report before this date to get settled before classes begin.

October

Late applicants are still accepted by some universities.
