On
behalf of Shanxi Medical University, I would like to extend my sincere greetings
and warm welcome to all the school members.
Founded in 1919, SXMU has a history of
nearly 100 years. During those days, it has became a vibrant and inspirational
place for learning and research in the world. It maintains a broad network of
international partners and a high extent of cooperation with 18 universities and
institutes in United States, UK, Canada, Australia, Japan Russia and so on. It
supports the credit transfer and accumulation policy for undergraduates. It
implements joint research programs and overseas medical training programs for
graduate students. In 2017, it had the first batch of international students,
which ushered a new chapter of the SXMU international
education.
As
president, I am proud to say SXMU is a place a dynamic place to learn, reflect,
discover, and strive for achieving your doctor dreams. It offers well-organized
courses, highly devoted teachers and rich research opportunities to ensure you
gain real knowledge and lay a solid foundation for your future study. It
encourages interdisciplinary programs, so you can explore unknown fields you are
interested. It creates the open and positive atmosphere for embracing cultural
diversity. It can be the beginning to learn Chinese culture, to experience
Chinese civilization and to understand the faith of this century-old
school.

coming can also serve the bridge between China and your country, enhance the
mutual understanding between two countries’ civilians and strengthen civilized
