Jilin Agricultural Science and Technology University is a provincial full time public university. It is located in  Jilin City known as 

“Rime Metropolis ”.The northern campus Region of the university stands at Zuojia Nature Reserve,and the Southern region stands at the 

Economic and Technological Development Area of Jilin City. The university covers 1.98 million square meters with a total floor space 

of over is 313000m2.The value of asset is around RMB500 million yuan which include teaching instruments and equipment of 63.5 million 

RMB. The university is well- equipped with educational technology center and campus network, as well as more than 120 fundamental and 

professional labs. The collection of our library is around 766,000 volumes including 380,000 digital books which shared with local 

universities jointly. The university comprises 14 academic colleges including School of Animal Science & Technology, School of Plant 

Science, School of Economics & Management, School of Mechanical Engineering, School of Chinese Traditional Medicine, School of Food Science 

and Engineering, etc. Among the specialties, 39 specialties are for undergraduate education and 12 specialties are for 3year education 

which covering 6 disciplines as agriculture, engineering, science, economy, management and arts. By the end of 2012, the total enrollments 

is 11260  fulltime students. Jilin Agricultural Science & Technology University is always carrying out an open and developing strategy, 

so as to enlarge school-operating space. The university has successfully established exchange and cooperationrelationships with Fuji University 

from Japan, Krasnoyarsk State Agrarian University from Russia, University of Asia and the Pacific from Philippines, Chonbuk national 

University from Korea, Konkuk Universit(glocal) from Korea, Kyungnam University from Korea and University DE Clermont- Ferrand I. Recent years,

the university has already sent nearly 200 students to study abroad and received  more than 160 foreign students for further study. The 

university conducts various cooperation jointventure and currently there are more than 50 exchange students are studying abroad in exchange 

program.
