Objective:

Students in this program receive systematical training in theories, research, design and manufacturing methods of traditional Chinese medicine and natural medicine. Graduates work in such fields as manufacturing, identification, and analysis of TCM, as well as pharmacology and biotechnology.

Degree Requirements:

Students in this program spend the first 2 years studying the basic sciences, biology and chemistry courses. In the first semester of the 3rd Year of their undergraduate study, the student must choose from different areas of concentration: 1. traditional Chinese pharmaceuticals, 2. analysis of Chinese material medica, 3. biotechnology of Chinese materia medica. Upon graduation, students must have completed core courses, lab courses, practicum and thesis writing.
