Computational mathematics is a science discipline formed by the cross-infiltration of mathematics, physics, computer science, operations research, and control science. It focuses on cultivating basic mathematics and mathematics thinking skills, and mastering basic theories and methods of information and computational science. Skills, trained by scientific research, senior professionals who can solve practical problems in information processing and scientific and engineering calculations. This discipline currently has 4 professors and 2 associate professors, 2 of whom have doctoral degrees. This subject now undertakes natural science fund projects and several horizontal research projects in various countries and autonomous regions. In recent years, he has published well-known academic journals at home and abroad such as "Applied Mathematics and Computation", "Journal of Computational and Applied Mathematics", "Journal of Engineering Mathematics", "Coastal Engineering", "Journal of Engineering Mechanics", and "Computational Mathematics". Higher academic level papers have been published in the journals Mathematical Journal, Chinese Journal of Computer Science, Electronic Journal, LNCS, International Journal of Information Technology, and Dynamics of Continous, Discrete and Impulsive System. More than 30 articles were included (SCI, EI, ISTP). Won a provincial and ministerial technology award. The main research directions of this discipline include spline function and approximation, numerical solution of differential equations and boundary element method, matrix theory and its application, optimization algorithm design and analysis, mathematical theory and method of computational intelligence.
