Literature is an art of creation that uses means of expression through language. Language and literature are ways of expression that offer insight into the elements that form a culture, the particular features of a society or social group in terms of spirituality, intellects, emotions and physical environment. The literature discipline explores the interrelations of literature with different kinds of cultural objects. Such objects are films, digital media and the visual arts.

Disciplines related to literature are languages, history and philosophy. Literature subjects of courses include: cultural and literature, topics in literary research, reading fiction, poetry, modern drama, classical literature, women's literature.

Besides advanced knowledge of literary studies, students will broaden their creativity and communication skills. The study of literature gives general knowledge in many fields of interest, enabling analytical thinking of students and developing their ability to make good arguments on any given subject.
