2017 Batch Students Orientation Ceremony



    On Nov. 17th, 2017, the incoming students orientation was held ceremoniously in the academic room No. 407 Library Building. NSMC President Du Yong, Vice Deans of SIEC Zhang Siguo and Yan Hongwei, Director of Students Affairs Ma Jing, Professor Liu Ying, Professor Liu Shangqing, teacher representatives, student representatives from senior batches and all the 2017 students participated in the orientation.

President Du Yong of NSMC delivered a warm welcome speech. He introduced the history of NSMCand the facilities and teaching resources to the students, encouraged the students to take best advantage of school resources and make themselves great doctors through persistently hard work, and sent his best wishes for the students. Then, teacher representatives Ms. Tao Jia respectively delivered her welcome speeches. She provided useful pieces of advice for the students to be successful. Afterwards senior and freshmen representatives Xiao Long and Guo Lan delivered their speeches. Xiao Long shared his experiences in both study and life at NSMC. Guo Lan, representing the freshmen, expressed their determination to be great doctorsand promised that all the new students would work hard with persistence. Finally, the Vice Dean of SIEC Zhang Siguo gave a welcome speech in which he pointed out that as the civilian ambassador, all the international students should try their best and do constructive contributions to the international cultural communication. He encouraged the students to concentrate on their dreams and make necessary compromises to have a rich college life. The ceremony came to a successful close.
