Hubei University of Chinese Medicine

Hubei University of Chinese Medicine (HUCM) is a university founded in 1958 which has the full spectrum of degrees from bachelor to doctor. At present, HUCM has 23000 resident students and 130 professors. There are 26 majors which cover the branches of law, science, engineering, management and art. HUCM has 14 specialties of doctor degree and 24 of master. In the year 1993, HUCM was first group of universities which were granted the qualification to accept foreign students. Until now, HUCM has trained 1600 foreign students from over 30 countries. At present, HUCM has 534 resident students from over 20 countries and regions who are studying for bachelor, master and doctor degrees.

Hubei University of Chinese Medicine is located in Wuhan City, Hubei Province, the central part of the People's Republic of China.

Hubei University of Chinese Medicine was established in 1958 which was one of the first five colleges of its kind in China.

Since 1986 when it started to enroll foreign students and students from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Africa, Korea, Vietnam, Mongolia, Hong Kong-Macao-Taiwan, the university has successively established such organizations as the Foreign Affairs Department, Overseas Education school and Hong Kong-Macao-Taiwan Affairs’ Office, which serve as a relatively independent facility, providing overseas students with the teaching and the affiliated facilities; the staff of this department is always ready to bring assistance.
