The programs are specially prepared for those foreign students who intend to study or work or travel in China, or who are interested in Chinese language and culture. It also aims to improve the Chinese language ability of overseas students studying in CUPB.

The department provides managers with a comprehensive understanding of the major forces in marketing decision-making, training them to develop and implement successful strategic marketing practices.

The Marketing Department focuses on helping managers understand how customer information, competitive intelligence and a company’s value proposition fit with customer needs and company capabilities. Teaching and curriculum emphasize problem-solving: determining the actions necessary to satisfy customer needs through rigorous planning, implementation and control of activities in a competitive market place. The curriculum addresses many areas including customer service, traditional marketing techniques as well as new social media.

Coursework includes Marketing Management, Marketing Planning and Implementation, Brands and Brand Communications, Export and Multinational Marketing Management, Industrial Marketing, Marketing Strategy, and Marketing of Experiences, Innovative Concepts and Media.



Students of chemical technology learn the skills they need to support chemical research and manufacturing. They study everything from chemistry and math to equipment use and lab research methods.

The Chemical Technology curriculum prepares individuals for work as analytical technicians in chemical laboratories associated with chemical production, environmental concerns, pharmaceuticals, or general analysis. Students can also use the degree to propel themselves into a four-year college or university where they will enter as juniors in a B.S. Chemistry program. Many students will choose this alternative in comparison to traditional transfer chemistry courses.

Graduates should qualify as entry-level chemical laboratory technicians or chemists.  Their duties may include chemical solution preparation, raw material, product, or environmental sampling, and/or sample testing via wet chemistry or instrumental techniques.



This program aims to educate and train senior engineering technical talents. Upon completion of the program, students are expected to:

1. Have a solid theatrical basis and a comprehensive professional knowledge.

2. Be qualified to engage in plan, design, project management, operation management, scientific research, technology development and technology consultation of oil- gas storage and transportation systems and gas transmission and distribution system.

3. Acquire practical skills, innovation capability and international vision.

Graduation & Degree RequirementsStudents are required to complete a minimum of 144 credits for graduation, among which 113.5 credits from required courses and 30.5 from practical courses. They also have to pass CET 4 to gain the Bachelor’s degree. Career prospectsMost of our graduates filled responsible positions relating to oil- gas storage and transportation engineering in petroleum institutions. Some graduates also pursue further studies.
